I met a woman named DeeDee today. She was baking in the sun on Yauger Way after after being discharged for not wanting to be poked with a needle(refusing medical care). She ended up at a bus stop, where she then fell off her walker(while wearing a fall risk bracelet that they put on her) and urinated on herself. In talking to her in between trying to find some services or way of helping her I found out she has kidney failure and has had ovarian cancer and that she is extremely mentally ill. She sat in the sun for hours because she would only let the blue and white move her and she liked the sun, all the while the police were telling others we had call in that they had been there several times. Which in the 2 hours I was out there didnt happen once. She had been sitting in the heat since 11am, I gave her food and water and tried to keep her company. We finally convinced her to try and go to the hospital again. We were told by a smarmy, rude security guard that they didnt want her there and that he knew where she was cause he put her there. He didnt care that this woman was in need of medical aide. The cops finally arrived when he called them on us for trespassing. This is what happened. She is currently sitting on the side of McPhee road where the police left her.
