I met the man from Lowes today at our new house, to measure the windows. I think I will go with what they offer at Lowes for window tretments. Good prices and they have someone come out and install. Just have to pick the colors and the type of blinds that you want. Dar is coming out to help me with this...so happy. When I was there inside today, they had the carpeting done too. So happy that is done. Deck needs to be done yet. Maybe tomorrow. Today Bob and I returned to the new house and saw that the gutters are going up. Painting is being done. Finishing touches on basement insulation. Home will have that test done tomorrow to make sure it passes all the codes and doesnt have any problems. (Dawn had this done on her house). Thursday I think NL will come out and get the occupancy permit from the Village. Friday morning is cleaning day, so we will be closing after they clean it up. Friday is our walk through. (Dar will be coming with us too - so happy to have her help! She will remember things we forget! LOL) Lots of things to do...things are happening fast now. Not sure I am ready, but, ready or not...it is coming. Closing on Tuesday (hopefully). Always can have a glitch, but, praying for a smooth close. Thanks for listening, this is my blog to myself. If you dont want to read it, just well, dont. One of these days I will be making my new home Project Life album, and want to remember these daily things. Facebook gives me the opportunity to do it.
