I met with a few ladies last week from a support group for families affected by injustice. In a position where I should have felt empowered and inspired, I was left feeling drained and hopeless. These women suffered everything from police brutality to wrongful incarceration and were hopeless. Praying for a Jesus miracle, their prayers had grown apathetic and meaningless. It was my wake-up call. Faith without works is death, Family! Yesss- Give it to God! But just be sure youre not giving God YOUR work! There is not a single scripture that says depend on Jesus, but there are at least a dozen that says Faith requires Work. IF you ( do) THEN God. IF you believe THEN God...IF you fail THEN God will supply. In every aspect there is an action that is required of you FIRST! Dont miss that part...you could be missing your blessing.
