I might be wrong but I think the slow moving assassin GM AKA Idzik wants DeSean Jackson but plans to get him without giving up draft picks or paying that crazy asking price. I believe he wants DeSean Jackson to notice that they are trying to trade for him with reports the reports that the Jets are willing to trade their 4th and 5th for him. Knowing that the Eagles wanted a 3rd round pick. They also made moves that no one has pick up on, I dont believe the DeSean Jackson and Phi rift just started. That said I think thats the reason why they got Vick, not only to push Geno with the threat of a capable QB taking the Job but also Vick is DeSean buddy. The second phase in this is the so called slip of the tong by Woody Johnson when he said Sunday at the owners meeting that (and I am paraphrasing) we are looking at players including DeSean Jackson. Normally that a NFL violation because its tampering but I believe they would have used the everyone knows DeSean Jackson is being shopped and the Jets are one of the teams that want him. I believe all three moves are meant to lure DeSean Jackson when he becomes a FA. and the Jets will still keep all twelve of their draft picks and sign DeSean Jackson to a contract similar to Eric Decker but maybe a little bit more than him.
