I might have had a life-changing moment earlier today, at least I hope I did. I opened a letter to find addressed to me a check for $100 million dollars. Naturally I was stunned, and stood there on the porch stark naked not sure what to do next when the alarm went off and woke me--easy come, easy go. I went to the VA clinic and had lab work done, then later met with the diabetes educator. Blood sugar is up, diabetes is out of control, almost 100 pounds overweight. The report was no surprise I knew it was going to be bad. So, Ive committed to doing a little better, eating a little less and a little healthier, and exercising a little more. I need to make life changes. No grand bargains or goals to hit a certain weight by Christmas, just a commitment to myself to do better.
