I miss the old Republican Party. Small government and fiscal conservatism are values that our citizens typically embrace. The new Republicans seem to function more like paid consultants for their donors and they dont have basic people skills that should be universal among Representatives. We need to get back to having educated lawmakers who know how to balance the budget while accepting that we as a nation want government to provide some social programs to help the sick and the poor. These are christian values that a traditional Republican would support.
