I miss you all...see you Monday. ~ Kelly Aug 20 Good morning....today is my dads funeral. To those who know our story, you are aware that after the death of mom in 2008- my dad and I were estranged for 2 years. In October of 2010, the Lord brought us back together. I forgave him and most importantly he forgave me. The last 4 years have been the sweetest by far of my life with him. I believe that he knew that he hadnt always made the best choices leading up to moms death....he did spend the last 4- trying to make it up to everyone. I ask that his life not be remembered for a life full of tragedy but of a beautiful story of forgiveness. He forgave others, himself and most importantly reconciled with Christ. He is now home where he belongs. I thank God for him and all the lessons he taught me through my lifetime. This song is our story- it will be played today and my Bob will be speaking on my behalf. If any of you need to forgive- I know that when were hurting we just want it to stop...we build walls to protect ourselves...please break down your walls today while there is still time...with Gods help you can do it. Again, I am so blessed to have all of you in my life. Thank you for all your words of encouragement.
