I moved from Norristown to Lansdale when I was only 10. To me - TopicsExpress

I moved from Norristown to Lansdale when I was only 10. To me Hamilton Street was like a real life Little Rascals. We had even set up a clubhouse in the garage of the empty house attached to ours. Then the Fondots moved in... Linda, Janny, Christine, Harry Jo, and Raymond. Raymond talked to a little ghost in a silver dress. They moved to East Noriton and an Italian family moved in.. Anthony, Mafalda, and Carmelita. They moved out because the ghost freaked them out. They moved to the east end on Ridge Pike at Sandy Hill. The families/kids I remember the most are my besties Ellie Volz, Jeanie Dellabuno, Elaine and Nancy Buckwalter, John Robinson, Shawn Schwartz, and Jimmy Smith. I also remember Phillip Rogers, Chucky ?, Stanley Kosminski, the Simons (had to pass their house walking home from school and Patty was in my sister, Stephanies class), the McCabes (identical cousins that lived across the street... older and way too rough for me to know), Marie and Frank ? behind the Robinsons, Richard Peck (lived kinda next to Marie and Frank), the Saldinos and Palladinos, the Coles, the old lady in the big house that gave us cookies to clean her yard (a few houses up from the Robinsons), the dalmatian dogs in the yard before hers, the Ployds that lived next door to us, their daughter, Jinx, played a baby grand piano beautifully... I was so young, and lived there for such a short time, but I tell you truly, the best years of my life!
