I must say, Im falling a little behind on updates. I am trying to get to everyone, but Im afraid I might annoy the shit out of the facebook community if I post everyday. Lets hope thats not the case. Heavy Sleepers has been one of my favorite projects to work on. I pretty much grew up listening to this genre of music. The moment the drummer hit the snare during sound check, I knew we were in for a treat. I am continually impressed with the writing that these talented punks crank out effortlessly. They mesh ambient intros, with crescendos that transform into a screaming orchestra, and epic group vocals...Its been a long time since I felt the urge to throw the goat. I know it takes a long time to develop a sound, and sometimes that sound evolves into something different, and obscure. Sometimes you give up on music because you feel like it gave up on you. The point is, Wes, & Andrew know exactly what that sound is, and where to take it. These guys give me hopes for the future of a genre I sometimes feel is getting left behind, It sure brought up my spirits! Give it a listen...
