I must say, when Natalie first called me tonight and told me that Tallie prayed for me & Poppa during her prayer at supper tonight, I was so moved and so grateful! She told me that Tallies sweet, genuinely inspired and lengthy prayer included many people and many things (Im not surprised!).... In addition to her mama and daddy and immediate family, she also thanked God for those who had directed her on the right path. I immediately assumed this was where Poppa and I were specifically mentioned. I was mistaken. Well then she thanked God for tall people - so.... maybe she considered us tall - or at least Poppa!..... Once again, this was not where we came in..... she then prayed for those who are old and weak - like Nana and Poppa....oh great! Who knew? ????? ...I must remember to ask her VBS teacher and helpers tomorrow exactly what they talked about today.....she obviously was inspired! Gee thanks, Tallie! Love you too! Old and weak..... wish we had known that before attempting to shuck and put up 120 ears of corn tonight - I just wouldnt have bothered!
