I need advice. A few days ago there was an incident involving my 4 year old and another 4 year old where apparently they were touching each other inappropriately. None of the teachers witnessed this, they were just told by the other little boy. I was notified and we went into the office and had a talk with my son and he understood that this was not a nice thing to do and we shouldnt do things like that. Over the next 2 days, I noticed my son was separated from the rest of the class and when asked why and what he did wrong I was informed he did nothing wrong these particular days and they were separating him from them bc of the previous incident (which makes no sense to me, why isnt the other one separated as well?)... I got a phone call yesterday saying they are kicking my son out of daycare. He stays adamant thy he did not do this and the other boy did, but when asked why this other boy isnt being kicked out they ask me If I have proof that he did this to my son!? No, but you dont have proof my son did this either so why are they releasing my son by falsely accusing him of this ? He is severely emotionally upset by this and mentally does not comprehend why he cant go back to school. Is there anything I can do or should I just find another school and let it go?
