I need an honest opinion. On my original layout of my Ruby Facets quilt I have 48 star blocks in the outside border. I have come up short 12 blocks and I was considering an alternative layout of the outer border. I have 2 diagrams here. One has all 48 stars, the other will have 12 alternating blocks of neutrals. I am sorry the 2nd one is not so much in color but my color cartridge ran out and so did my sharpies. I hope I have colored enough that you can get the idea. Please give me your honest opinions. I would really hate to have to cut fabric for 12 more star blocks. TIA.
