I need help. I have called every fire dept, police station, sheriffs, fwc, animal control... NO ONE wants to remove this snake. Its less than a foot away from the board walk that leads out to the dock. This snake is HUGE! Its coiled back like its ready to strike. When I first found it, it was rattling up a storm but after a few minutes he went silent. Fwc said leave it be and it would go away... Unfortunately I found its home about four feet away. This snake isnt going anywhere anytime Soon. Its at the edge of the river, plenty of food, water, shelter. Theres always kids out on these docks fishing and playing everyday. Someone is going to get bit by this snake. I am dumbfounded that I cant find anyone to remove this massive, deadly rattle snake from this park.
