I need help My 81 GS550L is giving me some trouble. She starts just fine, but after 5-10 minutes the engine stops, and will not start, not even if I spray ether into the air intake. The engine starts again after cooling down - The spark plugs are all new - The ignition coils work fine - All cylinders work fine - the sparkplugs get power just fine, although sometimes it seems a bit irregular I dont understand, and my mechanic is also at a loss. My mechanic seems to think it is the ingnitor, but I am not about to replace an $800 part just to see if it actually is the problem. Does anyone have any suggestions? has anyone had a similar issue?
