I need help There’s this dog, she’s very happy, very sweet and a very good girl. She lives with ‘mum, dad and 3 kids’ she sleeps on the bed and all is great. So ‘dad’ took off to greener grass and he took the bed with him. ‘Mum’ had to work long hours to pay bills, the kids have been scattered with family members and the dog……well she got put out in the yard. She was tied up on wire. Had no dry shelter, the water bowl was thick with green but someone did drop food on the floor for her almost every day. No exercise, no love, no shelter, no toys, nothing to occupy her mind except the flies and ants that were on her food. I was asked to help this dog and so I did. I started going there and taking her for walks, giving her cuddles. I made flyers and put them out all over town. I’ve had not one phone call. I have a lot to do at my own house with my own animals (needless to say…all rescues) and I’m also quite consumed with helping my husband recover from Cancer. It was getting awkward for me to keep going to where this dog was and worse than that my heart broke a little more every time I had to leave here there. So, I brought her home with me. I am now juggling constantly and I’m exhausted. This I can cope with but it’s become evident that this dog needs vet care and I just don’t have the money. I’ve tried to set up a pitch-in but I can’t seem to promote it. (Maybe I’m just dumb?!) The linked HTML goes to nothing. I am asking for donations to help this dog. I call her Velcro because she may as well just be stuck to my leg! She’s a beautiful young girl and very, very good – despite all she’s been through. The biggest problem is that she has hot itchy red patches of skin where the fur is missing on her tail and back. It could be anything, it’s driving her crazy and I feel so bad for her. I’m afraid that my dogs will ‘catch’ whatever it is. Whatever it is I’m certain it’s treatable. PLEASE HELP ME with vets fees. This is hard for me to ask for help but my pride is gone!
