I need help from our West Springfield Community. One of Lindseys best friends family had a house fire last night. They are a military family, and are being housed in a hotel by the Red Cross for 2 more nights. They are looking for a home to rent here in town for the next 6 months. If you know of anything available right away and AFFORDABLE, please message me. As some of you may know, my sister moved to NJ and her home is presently empty. After speaking with her, she and her husband have kindly agreed to let this family stay there until they can find a home to rent. They will be there for 2 weeks, and pray that they are able to find a place in that time. They have many needs, but right this minute, I am looking for help with specific things so that it can be set it up for them to walk into and not have to worry about moving and transporting things or shopping. They have so much to worry about right now, so the less they have to do the better. They have 4 children. A 13 yr old girl, 7 yr old boy, 2 yr old girl and a newborn daughter. I do not want to overload them with things, but definitely want to help them with the things that they need right now. They will be staying there starting tomorrow, so I will be going over early and if you are able to help with any of these things, please let me know Couch or futon and/or living room chair Full size sheets, blankets, comforter, pillows, bath towels paper products-plates, cups, plastic ware, groceries and toiletries to start I am asking for paper products only because it is simple. Dishes are the last thing they need to worry about! I will update my status and share it again when I add additional items I am doing this now because I wanted to put it out there before I left for cheer/gymnastics running around. I know in the grand scheme of everything, that there is so much more that they will need, but I do not want to overwhelm them, just help them with what is necessary for right now.
