I need opinions!!!! My landlord told us he was going to sell this house. So beings as we are seniors and soon to be on a very fixed income. I applied to senior housing..(there is a waiting list). Our landlord wanted me to promise if housing called we would refuse the apartment and we should stay here until spring. I said no way I may not get an offer in the spring why should I gamble with our Future?? The landlord says I am screwing him because he lives in his home in porta rico for the winter and he will have to heat an empty house in the USA. REALLY IS THIS MY PROBLEM.?. He told us housing call him to check our reference.( we have never missed rent on 10 Years here)He will not give them a refference.
