I need others opinions. I honestly never thought this would cross my mind but with each hospital visit with Noah this weighed on my mind. I am speaking to an advisor on Thursday about getting back in school, but online classes. I have already spoken to a financial advisor and I will be able to receive financial aid, pending I put my fasfa in. I have been thinking about becoming a advocate for parents that have had prolonged hospital stays, particularly ones in the NICU, I believe that degree would be a social worker. I truly want to provide HOPE and a shoulder to lean on to other families that were in my shoes. What I am asking is advice from other who have had degrees for a while and what they thought of my plans? I would love to be a nurse, although I dont think it is the timing. I would love to write a book but more importantly HELP others.
