I need some input here. So... Yesterday, I went to pick up Emily from xc practice and wanted to speak to one of their coaches but spoke w someone else who helps some of the time w the team. I smiled and introduced myself because I never met her before (no smile or hello back). I then proceeded to ask what was going on in terms of the teams fundraising event that was going on at the high school that evening. Several students were walking directly from there (the jr. high) and I was simply letting this person know that it was okay for Emily to go w them, with her team. This person then started asking me, in a very rude tone, well, what do you want?! What are you here for?! Get to the point?! I was really just stunned about how she would speak to a parent, or anyone for that matter. I then told her I just wanted clarification in the fundraiser and if the team was going over to the hs all together. She then snapped back at me with you can take your child and whatever you decide to with them once they leave is up to you! She said this to me in such a disgusting way in the middle of the gym w students, parents, and other faculty around. I felt so embarrassed and just shocked by her behavior. Did I mention she had her arms up by her face almost the entire time she spoke to me, like I did something wrong. I dont know, Im just completely disappointed by her actions and dont know who to make a complaint to. I wouldve said something but was almost too stunned, like, is this really happening? Lol. Should I talk to the other head coaches, principal??
