I need someone with a flexible nature. I need someone who, like me, loves to plan things but occasionally wants to do something frightening and spontaneous. I need someone who isn’t afraid to dress up and act stupid, but are normally quite calm and tranquil to be around. I need someone who take’s their fandom’s seriously, but doesn’t insist every other person’s fandom is wrong. I need them to be intelligent, witty, and slightly superior to most everyone else. I need them to be my equal, and to make me feel like we’re a duo, and not just ‘together’. I also need them to simultaneously be my greatest adversary, the inspiring competition and the voice of madness in a reasonable percentage. I need them to inspire every tiny corner of my ability to feel. I need them to be someone I’m proud of, and someone I can sit in a room with for hours and say nothing too, without offending each other. I need to trust them, and for them to trust me. I need them to be the one I didn’t just settle for. I need the Moriarty to my Sherlock, but also the Samwise to my Frodo. He doesn’t have to be perfect physically, but I do need to like something about him; Just one amazing thing. I need him to be just as weird as I am, without TRYING to be as weird as I am. I need him to be enthusiastic about things like Halloween no matter how old we get, and understand that I am a thinking individual, who doesn’t think they’re just one individual. I’d rather be on my own than settle for someone who doesn’t fit this criteria…
