I need to clarify this...I read previous comments on the high loss of life on these jetliners. I used to be an emergency flight mechanic on these planes for AIA. This is a CARGO plane. Some companies buy reconditioned passenger liners and remove everything from the pilot bulkhead back to the aft bulkhead. Sometimes they order them new and have them dressed out for cargo only. on average the max personnel/crew is about 6. pilot/co-pilot, flight engineer sometimes 2. My planes always came with just 4 crew unless another flight mechanic tagged along for a repair job. ANY LOSS OF LIFE IS TRAGIC but this is at an airport and thankfully not over a residential area. flying is still the safest form of transportation, even to Hawaii. What is here in this video is a cans kick-locks failed during the takeoff. When ramp crew loaded it the locks didnt properly engage and instead of seeing to its security figured oh what does one set of locks matter. This is the result a set releases due to the G force at takeoff and slams the next can setting off a chain reaction. ok stepping off my educational saltbox.
