I need to take a moment to shout out who I believe to be the BEST police chief in the country, Chief Jeffrey Blackwell. I witnessed firsthand how the Cincinnati Police Department, under his leadership, handled the protesters. 10-15 years ago, we wouldnt have seen CPD stopping traffic to keep protesters safe. We need more police chiefs and commissioners who value community engagement and to not be afraid to break the blue line when they see unfair practices. Thank you to my mentors, Rev. Damon Lynch, III and Iris Roley for the huge role they played in changing out policing is done in the city!
