I need your opinion. I make these calavera pendants. Each one is free hand sawn one at time and is unique. As you can imagine, there is lot of time and skill involved in making them. I am concerned that all my detail work is lost in the dark finish, which I love and dont really want to change. I am considering adding a sterling silver piece behind it to catch the light and accentuate the design. This would add to the cost of the item and therefor increase the price I must charge to the customer. Photo 1 is with out the sterling silver piece, photo 2 is simply lying on top of piece of sterling, it is not yet integrated into the design. What do you think with or with out the sterling backing?
