I needed to know that there was someone who was feeling like Im feeling. I cannot say I am enraged, but I can say that I am trying to keep a clear head to be able offer a possible solution to this seemingly unsolvable equation. People keep saying that This is about Mike Brown, but how many cases have we heard about since then? By my count there has been an incident per week. These protest are not just about Mike Brown. He is no Martyr for this cause. Although he is in fact one of the hundreds, even thousands of faces dating back decades who have suffered from police brutality.That is what these protests are over. It has finally reached a simmer, because from what I can see the boiling point is a ways off. I hope it never reaches that point. I hope that some kind of understanding can be reached across the lines. You have a people that is trying to fight against 400 years of indoctrination and a stacked deck. They have every right to be angry when they see those that they should be/feel protected by wrongfully kill someone that looks like them(and get away with it). Who can they turn to if the people appointed to protect them victimizes them more times than not? All I ask is that if you are on the outside looking in, have some compassion. Have a little empathy towards those that have these feelings. Trying to rationalize the wrong doings of a few police officers do nothing but cause pain. As a counterpoint, Dont let the actions of a few police officers allow you to demonize those that are out there to do actual good. For every Harvey Bullock there is a Jim Gordon. #icantbreathe
