I never ever said gay people should not get married. What I question is the idea of calling it a right. I feel we as a culture should have a look at our history and decide if we should change to fit in our be allowed to fit in due to our being humans carrying with us our traditions and ways that may not fit with heteronormative behavior patters set up by Judeo/Christian rituals that offer people in monogomous relationships special priviledge. Go get married if you want but dont tell me how to think because I do not now nor will I ever think of marriage in the way it is being used....as a right. Rights are for all citizens not just those who choose to follow a path that is sanctioned for a certain way of life that not everyone enjoys or even wants to. Oh and go ahead and stop being my friend and treat me like shit in a bar because that behavior got me last night but only served to convince me that i have hit a nerve and may just be on to something here....
