I never had my long status update for 2015 Presidential Polls. Rajapaksha troops are withdrawing from the Temple Trees. That, is nature bringing cosmic balance. As people of a nation, they have done what the country needs. No man should be left with such greed for power and wealth, responsible for a country, future of millions. He did stand unshaken when time needed, as a leader. But he also put his inner circle first than solving the problems of the poor and hungry. Therefore, when all good and bad calculated, he deserves the outcome. Though, for the above mentioned and unmentioned reasons, we had to vote for the opposition who was the only who had the resources to stand against a growing dictator, I, personally, cannot see Sirisena as the leader of our nation. It is hard times coming ahead. Let us mark the end of an era with hope that these people know what they are doing. Corruption is always among those who have. But for once, I am satisfied to see the common people have done their part.
