I never post anything to Facebook, so when I do post something, you bet its going to be good. So, today I felt like watching Star Wars, but not any of the movies, and not the Clone Wars, because Ive pretty much seen every episode 500 times. So, despite the strong, influential, unanimous, negative opinion of the original trilogy fans, I looked up the Star Wars Holiday Special. If you didnt already know, the Star Wars Holiday Special aired only ONCE on television in its entire existence, back in the 70s, before Empire Strikes Back came out, and it never made a VHS or DVD release, so the only way to watch it is by finding a bootleg copy someone recorded on that day. Some of you might not have known this even EXISTED (none of it is canon), but Im sure a LOT of you are familiar with the Scene in the music video of Weird Al Yankovics Parody, White and Nerdy, in which he is handed a VHS with a poorly drawn Star Wars: Holiday Special Cover in an alleyway (my personal favorite scene from that video for obvious reasons). So anyway, Ive tried to find it online for many years now, but never found the common sense to just search Star Wars Holiday Special in Google, instead I would go to pirated movie websites and such to no avail. But today I finally found it.. In Google. I would give my opinion on the quality of the production, but I dont want to spoil it for anyone.
