I never really knew my father, having only met him once and that - TopicsExpress

I never really knew my father, having only met him once and that was for just a few hours in 1957. However, after his death, and thanks to my sister Devon, I ended up with a bunch of his recordings, all on old tapes (reel-to-reel and cassettes) and well-worn acetates (demo discs). My first job was to restore those precious Lost and Found recordings of him singing and playing numerous instruments, to the best possible audio quality. Then I wanted to give him something he never had in his entire life: a vinyl record album, created and produced by his first-born (me)! I think Phil Ryan would be pleased with the result. Packaged together in a numbered edition of 100 LP/CD combo packages, it just came out just before Christmas. I pieced together a sampler of excerpts of seven tracks, and below is that link. Hope you like it, and please share it with your FB friends. He was truly talented!
