I never really voice my political opinions if this even considered a political opinion. This, I feel the need to speak on. I am all for helping others in need. After all we are all from the line of immigrants. That being said I feel the need to say that there is a right way to do this. I do not agree with handing all our resources over to those who come to this country illegally. The more we give the more that come. Can we help our own people? Before I joined the military and paid (all be it a small price) for my college fund, I tried to get financial aid. I couldnt. I made to much for assistance yet I couldnt pay my bills. I had no phone. I didnt even have a car. I walked to work. I made minimum wage and could barely afford the small dump of an apartment I had. Yet I did not qualify for aid. I could barely feed myself and yet I did not qualify for food stamps. I was a single female without children. Every person that comes into this country today as an illegal immigrant is given assistance. Yet out own homeless and those hard working people who can barley sustain themselves do not get any help. Our tax dollars go to help those who do not work or have not followed proper channels to become a citizen of this country. I do not mind individuals wanting to escape the problems in the place that they live in. I do not have a problem with individuals wanting to better themselves. I dont not have a problem with people immigrating into this country. I have a problem with handing out our resources hand over foot to individuals not a citizen of this country, who by law are not supposed to be here without the proper paperwork, while we do not take care of our own. I have a problem with the fact we out source all our jobs because its cheaper. We are a greedy nation. For big corporations its all about how much profit can they make I dont care if you cant buy diapers. Whats happened to our country?
