I never wanted to get political. Facebook was meant to be (I thought) a place of fun, laughter & lightness. I have used it to, hopefully, amuse & entertain. But the endless bile being poured out on social media is just impossible to ignore. I am not going to sleepwalk to the gas chamber because of successive gutless governments, starting with that appalling man Blair, not taking a stand. The stand Blair should now take should be in the International Court in The Hague. There is a deeply revolting, unsettling atmosphere pervading the UK right now. We all feel we can do nothing. But we can. Yesterday I reported George Galloway to The West Midlands Police Force for Hate Crime. They were fantastic on the phone & knew immediately what I was referring to. Why should he be allowed to spout such filth? What are we going to do about The Tricycle Theatre? About flying the ISIS flag in Tower Hamlets? About the flags flown on the Town Halls of Glasgow, Tower Hamlets (again and Preston? Where is the voice of moderation? This is not going to go away.
