I normally dont post much as far as a status. But for whatever reason a few things have really just gotten under my skin lately. I just read an article in people magazine about comments made by Juan Pablo, from the Bacholer, about his thoughts on having an openly gay version of the show. Now he says his comments,that received negative attention, were a mistake due to his misunderstanding of the English language. This is what I dont understand. Why is it ok to be openly gay but its not ok for someone else to disagree with that lifestyle? It just doesnt make sense to me anymore. If you believe that being gay is wrong then you are labeled as homophobic or a bigot. When did we all have to be politically correct? This is still America and we are all entitled to our own opinions. I try very hard not to label ppl. Its not my place to judge your actions. But the gay community preaches tolerance and equality. Made they should practice what they teach. The same thing goes for prayer in school. If you or your child dont believe in that then dont participate. Gun laws, you dont like guns then dont buy one. But dont come in my home and tell me I cant have one. Interracial couples. I just love to hear the response I get when I tell ppl that Jayden is part Korean. If its ok for a white person to date someone Hispanic, Asian, Indian, or any other race then please tell me how being with someone African American is any freaking different. If you dont believe in interracial relationships thats fine. But do give me BS about this one is ok but not this one. I am not asking for a Sunday school lesson on whats right and whats wrong so please dont give me one. I know this country/ world is going to hell in a hand basket. I also dont care if you agree or disagree with me I any of this. And if I offended you I wont apologize.
