I noticed that Hunter Pence keeps stepping towards 3rd base as he plants his front foot when he swings. Don’t you think he should stride and then step toward the pitcher when he plants his front foot as he swings? Seems like he is getting a lot of outside pitches and he either pulls them for easy grounders to the left side or he hits something soft to the right side with little or no power behind it. It looks like Panda is getting out of his slump by hitting back up the middle, but Pence looks like he is trying to pull everything. Shouldn’t Pence try to go up the middle like Panda until he strings a few hits together and gets out of this slump?
