I noticed the headline today about the dyslexia font (its been around for awhile) and its important to note that those kinds of interventions only treat symptoms. A different font might make it slightly easier for a dyslexic to read, but it doesnt solve the underlying problem of connecting letters with their phonetic sounds. A childs brain can be re-wired to read (any font) correctly, and please dont let anyone tell you otherwise! Dont rely on accommodations alone.
