I offered to Create & Administer this group to provide a place to share our common heritage. Some questions have been asked about what is okay & appropriate to post on this page. Below are my original notes ABOUT (see the right side of this page) the description of this group, in parentheses are my IMO (in my opinion) notes of clarification. Feel free to offer your own insight. A Facebook group devoted to West Denmark history. (To me this says anything Danish, anything about Luck, WI, anything about West Denmark.) A place to share photos, old and new. A spot to share a story or memory about West Denmark and the families whose history is rooted in that community. (I love seeing photos of friends and family who I remember as WD-ers. The more the merrier. Helping each other with identifications also stirs up old memories and stories, which I love to read and should be shared.) Please try to add names and dates or other info you have about all photos that you post. (Helping each other identify photos has been fun and valuable for accurately tagging these old pictures.) Please keep your postings relevant to West Denmark, both history & genealogy, your memories and stories, and news about West Denmark. (So, dont share cute cat videos or political comments, you can do that on your personal page. Having said that, Id rather err on the side of inclusion as opposed to exclusion, but if you post something that is out there, know that we may call you on it.)
