I often hear folks speak about how capitalism causes over consumption of resources, especially in places like America, and leaves other nations with nothing, thus rendering them helpless and poor. This is not true. Those nations are in bad shape because of backwards ideas and poor economic theory being the rule. Economics is not a zero sum game, and the countries that are bad off should push to have free enterprise. Look at the turn around of Estonia, or Hong Kong, theyre economic miracles because of capitalism and free trade.
