I often ponder, while I sit alone (which often is the majority of the time), if my friends that I miss out there in the world could accept how much Ive changed, how different I am now than I once was. Music has always been one of the most important parts of my life, and luxury that Ive always held close to my heart. It has intertwined with other areas of my life, shaping my attitude, my beliefs, and, at times (especially when I was younger), my appearance. People close to me have certain expectations of who I I should be, I understand this. I wonder if some of their hearts would be broken knowing I could care less about a lot of the beliefs I had? Im hardly the same man I was 10 years ago. Anymore, 80s synth pop dominates my playlist. Because it is awesome. Thats not to say Emperor wont play next, but Kim Wilde is more likely to be followed by Depeche Mode.
