If you are not convinced and at peace with this person being in your life and have no assurance within you of his being with you till the end, then you are in the wrong place and you need to go home. I get where these ideas come from but the truth is, this guy will likely be a boyfriend first before he proposes and, so saying such things about him when he is faithful, honest and intends to marry you us quite frankly insulting and going overboard and, you should not then be offended if he decides to leave, saying you never thought him serious or real. A person that loves you, loves you. Simple. There are no oddities in the matter. A person who wants to be with you and says and, shows it, should be accorded all the love and respect they deserve. Let us stop ruining the things God brings our way all in the name of protecting ourselves and following the bad advise of people who say we should keep our options open until the ring comes. That means the person who has that mentality is not serious either and is not willing to give their all until they get a ring. How many would rejoice if their own sibling or friend were treated that way? If he sees you dont value him or take him as important (believe it or not, some ladies actually boldly say such things to men who are dating them and think this will make the man step up his game and propose fast. #SMH), why should he stick around? Love is a two-way street. It is about two people doing their bit and not one waiting for the other to marry them first then they will start to behave. Yes, relationships end but, some actually end because someone isnt serious about it. Dont be that person. Give it your all or go home, please. Do not toy with someones heart or be-little their efforts because they have not married you yet. #Adooshima
