I often times joke on FB...but this is no joke! I cant quite put into words how I feel; but this is less about me & more about the compassion I feel for those that deal with this matter on a more regular basis. I have been called names, singles out, & even beaten up for my religious beliefs...and I guess I was just too young to care---But at 38 years of age to be discriminated against because I am white never crossed my mind....until today! I assure you my experience pales in comparison to others that have suffered both physically, mentally & emotionally for years, decades, even centuries. Taking into consideration how I feel & keeping in mind it wasnt done in a malicious way - I find it hard to imagine what others must have experienced. Its not important who or why I was discriminated against; it only matters that we still have work left to do! Remember we have more in common than we do differences... #ThxForListening&LettingMeShare
