I often wish that I could offer my lovely clients - those who struggle to see their own light, and their own gifts - a self-esteem pill. I think it the perfect ethical get-rich scheme. If only it could be such a quick fix. If only it was that easy to shift from indifference or outright self-loathing to self love. You see, believing ourselves to be worthy, to be worth the effort, worth caring for, is foundational to making healthy choices. Otherwise, when we encounter a bumpy patch, we will default to (unconscious) behaviours that make us feel worse. What strategies have worked for you or your loved ones to genuinely improve self-esteem?
