I once tried to learn electric guitar in college. For one reason or another I didnt get very far, and I got frustrated, which led to the creation of Shreddage, a sample library capturing a realistic electric guitar sound for rock & metal. Somehow that became a huge hit and so I made a sequel, recorded by my friend and fellow game remixer Sixto Sounds. Over the last 3 months, Ive created an update (Shreddage 2X) based on the feedback of many users, friends and fellow composers. Its now available as a free upgrade if you own S2. If you dont, its on sale for $99 at the Impact Soundworks website, Kontakt Player compatibility and all. I suppose the moral of the story is that sometimes failing at something can lead to success.
