I only do this every few years, so please forgive me: Ryo Oyamada was killed by a police cruiser last year in Queens. Police say that the cruisers lights and sirens were on, but eyewitnesses contradict that claim, and state that the car was driving in excess of 70 mph. None of these eyewitnesses were interviewed for the police report. To make matters worse, NYPD released video footage of the events which were later contradicted by footage from a NY Housing camera. Someone had EDITED THE FOOTAGE to cover up the truth. This is a terrible miscarriage of justice, and only serves to weaken the publics trust in the police. Please, sign this petition and call on the NYPD to conduct a full and fair investigation into Ryo Oyamadas death. #JusticeForRyo
