I only met Doug a few times briefly, but my impression was that he was a great guy, always friendly and cheerful. At times I listened to his shows giving exposure to local musical artists of many different styles and genres, and I heard about great charity benefit work that he did. He was very dedicated for many years, and he brought a lot of good to peoples lives in the area. Its very sad to see another longtime community radio colleague leave us. R.I.P.
