I paid top dollar for your T430. The machine though it is good has no support whatsoever in south America. The battery is engineered to last for around a year (down to 25% battery power) and I cannot use 3rd party batteries. I am pissed off to say the least and I would like Lenovo to sort their mess out and secure me a battery ASAP. The idea of using one battery for all your T models would not be a revolutionary idea but to cause issues with your laptops by making this commercial decision to play politics with the battery life and prevent 3rd party battery use is unethical. For example, what would be your policy for the t range in 4 years time given that by insurting a chip in that model this will destroy for many the idea of having a decent machine due to having to buy an expensive and hard to find battery only sold by Lenovo and not even the possibility of finding one outside America or Europe? Lenovo should not sell their products outside of these places due to their T430 machine having limited battery capability and policy to reduce battery performance. Apple machines apparently last for 3 times the period and I am told in many cases these batteries can last up to 7 years. it appears people compare these machines when deciding to purchase a top performance laptop. The T430 is a little less expensive but your battery policy makes purchasing this device a big mistake. Your batteries are not cheap. I am seriously not happy with this machine and suffice it to say I would like this matter to be rectified. You have agents all over South America describing to potential customers how great your machines are but cannot care less about the ramifications of buying them. Your marketing strategy leaves a lot to be desired and I would welcome your comments regarding the criticisms I have made. Please also do not ask me to write a personal message as I have done so 25 times without reply. Sort this out please!
