I personally am not comfortable with the privately owned charter schools taking money away from public schools.....I think the entities that will contract to own or run these schools will quickly figure out how to game the system, putting their own monetary gain ahead of the good of the students. .....Taking money away from public schools will damage the quality of that education even more......I do know that certain parties who stand to gain from charter schools are pushing politicians to further defund public education.......We need to rebuild public education....increase funding......it will be a long, hard road, to hoe but I think its the right way. ....................BTW here in Orlando, one charter school system with an F rating had a principal over several schools making about $375 per year... They got rid of her with a $500k severance.......your thoughts?
