I personally believe that most people actually dont need to be delivered from the enemy, they need to be delivered from themself! Timothy wrote that People will be lovers of themselves. Which basically boils down to self-worship, sitting on the throne of your own life. Unwilling to carry your cross and follow The truth, unwilling to pay the price. Although the enemy does steel kill and destroy, we give him way too much credit. Resist the enemy and he will flee from you! Sometimes our hearts and lack of faith is were the problem lies. To me, this is one of the biggest reasons people dont take the Gospel and the great commission seriously. Because they still havent died to self, which is actually the starting point in the Christian walk(remember baptism). Its how your journey with Jesus should start, and end! With Him sitting on the throne of your life! May we all finish this glorious journey strong knowing HE is the head of the church! Which means the body follows where He is directing us!
