I personally request the under mentioned Railway Facilities for the people of Tamilnadu and Puducherry UT. 1)NEW TRAINS TO BE INTRODUCED.. A) PAMBAN CENTENARY Weekly/Bi-Weekly Expresses from Rameswaram as Vivek Centenary Expresses . Previous UPA 2 GOVT eye wash the Pamban Centenary Function and did not concede our former President ABDULKALAMS simple request to introduce one centenary train.So the present OUR MODIJI NDA GOVT should suitably ONCE AGAIN CELEBRATE THE PAMBAN CENTENARY FUNCTION. 1) Rameswaram-Jammu 2) Rameswaram-New Tinusukia 3) Rameswaram- Jodhpur 4) Rameswaram-Vascodagama via Kongan B)OTHER NEW EXPRESS DAILY TRAINS TO BE INTRODUCED 5) Thiruvananthapuram-Rameswaram via Nagercoil 6) Tiruvananthapuram-Karaikkal / Pondy Via Nagercoil 7) Nagercoil-Tiruathi via Namakkal,Salem,Katpadi 8) Madurai-Mangalore via Pollachi,Palakkad 9) Madurai-Earnakulam / Guruvayur via Pollachi,Palakkad 10) Madurai-Bangalore Inter-City 11) Senkottai-Chennai via Namakkal,Salem,Katpadi. 12) Tiruchi-Mumbai via Coimbatore and Konkan 13) Tiruchi-Mumbai via Yesvantpur ,Hubli, and Madgoan Konkan Route 14) Karaikkal-Mangalore / Earnakulam Via Dindugal,Pollachi and Palakkad. 15) New Delhi to Nagercoil Tri-Weekly via Kacheguda ,Bangalore,Salem,Namakkal,Karur and Madurai and named as THIRUVALLUVAR EXPRESS.( Kongu Express Route ) 16)Chennai-Guntakkal-Bellary-Hubli-Madgoan-konkan-Mumbai 2) EXTENSION OF TRAINS 1) New Delhi -Chennai Tamilnadu Expresses to Madurai 2) Howrah-Chennai Coramandal Expresses to Trichy 3) Kacheguda -Bangalore expresses to Madurai / Trichy. 4) Hyderabad-Chennai Expresses to Pondicherry. 5) Howrah-Trichy Bi-Weekly to Shenkottai via Manamadurai and Virudhunagar 6) Veraval / Jodhpur / New Bhuj / Ahmadabad - PUNE Expresses to Madurai. 7) Chandigarh - Madurai Bi- Weekly to Shenkottai 8) Chennai-Madurai Vaigai to Sivakasi as Pallavan to Karaikkudi. 9) Among 3 Chennai - Coimbatore , each one to Mettupalayam / Pollachi / Shoranur. 3) FREQUENCY OF TRAINS TO BE INCREASED 1) Mumbai LTT to Karaikkal via Chennai egmore to Daily 2) Mumbai to Madurai Weekly to Tri-Weekly 3) New Delhi-Coimbatore Kongu Tri-Weekly in the present route and Tri - Weekly via Konkan. 4) Chennai-Manamadurai bi weekly Silambu and bi-weekly special Manamadurai to Shenkottai to daily and merge this train. 5) Tirupathi- Pondicherry Weekly to Daily. 6) Okha- Thoothukkudi Weekly to Tri-Weekly. 4) NEW PASSENGER TRAINS TO BE INTRODUCED 1) Shenkottai-Salem-Hosur 2) Karikkal - Salem / Coimbatore / Hosur 3) Pondicherry- Coimbatore via Viruthachalam and Salem 4) Madurai-Hosur via Namakkal and Salem 5) Villuppuram-Tirupathi via Thiruvannamalai,Katpadi and Pakala. 6) Dindugal- Shoranur via Pollachi and Palakkad 7) Tiruchi-Shoranur via Dindugal and Palakkad. 8) Tirupathi-Coimbatore/Madurai/Tanjavur 9) Chennai-Coimbatore/Madurai/Thanjavur 5) TERMINAL AND PIT LINE Facilities for starting and terminating trains. a) Additional for Chennai Metro 1) Royapuram 2) St.Thomas Mount .3) Guindy ( Race course should be taken for terminal in swapping some other area in outer Chennai for Race Course ) 4) Korukkupettai / Thondaiyarpettai.5) Perambur b) PIT LINE in other Districts of Tamilnadu !) Ennore ,Gummidipoondy ,Tiruvallur ,Vellore cantonement ,Tiruthani , Kanchipuram ,Tiruvannamalai,Marthandam,Shenkottai,Kovilpatti,Rajapalayam,Sivakasi,Pollachi,Nagapattinam,Karaikkal,Pondicherry,Tiruppur,Coimbatore,Hosur,Katpadi ,Palani and Kumbakonam.etc 6) ADDITIONAL STOPPAGES IS TO BE PROVIDED All Town Panchayat / Municipalities stations should be provided at-least one or two SF / Expresses . Especially,some of fewTP/Municipalities . Thalaiyuthu ( Nellai SF 1 min), Thulukkapatti,Thirupparankundram,Thirumangalam,Manapparai,Ulundurpettai ,Thiruvallur ( Dist HQs ),Gummidipoondy,Ennore,Tiruvottiyur etc. Some Expresses are stopped for 20 to30 minutes for crossing daily without official Commercial stoppages,but regular season ticket holders use that stoppages .One example.16339 Mumbai CST- Nagercoil Expresses ( 4 days per week ) stopped in Thirupparankundram Municipality ( Murugan Temple) and Thirumangalam Municipality ( sub-urban to Madurai) regularly minimum 20 TO 30 minutes for crossing for 2 Chennai north bound trains regularly in each station.In that crossing stoppage time some season ticket travellers go to the nearby hotel and get parcel and catch train at Thirupparangundram station.At-least sanction one minute official Commercial Stoppages for this trains.This kind of regular SF/Expresses stoppages may be provided official commercial Stoppages. All the small station should have direct passenger train access to the state HQs Chennai by at-least one passenger trains as done by the SWR and SCR. SWR operates passenger train with less fares for poor people in all the routes and from all the stations in Karnataka to Bangalore by one passenger train for poor people( HUBLI-BANGALORE sector of 470 km distance have 3 up and down passenger services). Similarly SCR operates passenger trains from all the stations in the ANDHRA STATE and TELENGANA STATE Railway Stations to Hyderabad HQs. But SR only does not operated passenger services from Chennai to all the stations in Tamilnadu.Even it does not operate passenger trains from Tiruvananthapuram to all the stations in Kerala state. So i demand more long distance passenger trains for the poor from Chennai and Tiruvananthapuram State HQs to all the Railway Stations in their respective States... 7) NEW LINES with short distances but benefit much more for that region .TN STATE may also be participated by providing 50 % Project cost FOR SPEEDY EXECUTION as done by the Karnataka State.. 1) Chennai Central- Park station Ground level via canal providing Road Over Bridges in front of the Central station Terminal. 2)Tiruvannamalai-Jolarpettai Jn. 3) Dharmapuri - Morappur 4) Panrutti- Neyveli-Chidambaram.( NLC should share 50 % cost ) 5) Tanjavore-Ariyalur-Perambalur -Attur 6) Kovilpatti-Sankarankoil ..... etc. 7b)DOUBLING OF ESSENTIAL LINES. 1) Tambaram-Villuppuram quarapuling 2) Madurai-Nagercoil-Kanniyakumari / Thiruvananthapuram 3) Dindugal-Karur-Salem-Dharmapuri-Bangalore with Electrification. 8) ENVIRO FRIENDLY ELECTRIFICATION . All lines in SR have to be electrified for seamless operation. 9) SUB-URBAN SERVICES NEEDED FOR CITIES 1) Madurai 2) Trichy,3) Coimbatore 4) Salem,5)Vellore 6) Tirunelveli 10) CHENNAI METRO EXPANSION 1) Southern side up-to Chengalpattu 2) WESTERN side upto Thiruvallur 3) Northern side upto Gummidipoondi 11) NEW COACH FACTORY NEEDED Trichy Golden Rock Railway Workshop should be upgraded for MANUFACTURING NEW COACHES. May i hope that some of my suggestion and demands may also be considered in the BUDGET 2014 with other major demands for Tamilnadu Railway Infrastructures which are have to be implemented by the Central Government through the Indian Railway System.
