I picked up my main alternator this afternoon. Sure enough the voltage regulator in it bit the dust. Since I just had it in the shop three months ago I only got charged the cost of the regulator which was $22. Ive already got the alternator back in the car but; I didnt bother to start the engine. Nothing goes wrong with it as long as I dont run it so I thought Id enjoy at least one whole day with the knowledge that nothing is wrong with it. Now the switch for the power supply strip that feeds my main audio rack has had it. I guess it got cycled just one too many times. May be Ill just live in silence for a while. I dont have any square rocker switches!
