I picked up some Tennessee Brown Rock Phosphate, either this or similar -- fedcoseeds/ogs/search?item=8571&listname=Phosphate&cookies=no and they had bagged extra, which I bought. The load was weighed, but not individual bags which should average 62.5 pounds. You can have them for $12, which is $10 less than Fedcos 50 lb. bag price. You can pick up at my place in Oberlin, or I will be in the Cleveland area this Friday, and heading southwest on Saturday. This is a slow acting phosphate rock, and generally can be applied at 1 pound per 100-200 sqft every few years or 3-4 lbs for longer term fertility. If you know phosphate is low or limiting in your soil, or your soil is otherwise depleted or overfarmed, this is a good deal -- less than the per ton price.from most sources. Reply or message if you want a bag or a few.
