I planned on a leisurely ride around town. Unfortunately it was a bit eventful. I was chased by another dog. Fortunately he could not keep up. And some jackass drove past me way too close on my last climb and brushed me with his passenger side mirror and knocked me over. Fortunately no major damage. Just a skinned elbow. And no damage to the bike either. No he did not stop. He kept on going. Other than that it was a fun ride. LOL That was the third time I have been hit. Once in 2000 on 60th street in Manhattan. The jerk wanted to trade $100 of service from his graphic arts company in exchange of not reporting the incident to the Police and his insurance company. The Police Officer standing behind him did not find it very amusing. Needless to say he was responsible for repairs to my bike (new rear derailleur), medical cost (treated at the scene by a EMT crew from the FDNY), and $2,000 in damages. I was brushed over last October by a quad which was not legal to be on a regular road. No damage to me but I had a hell of a time finding a new derailleur hanger for my Fort. And then there is today. No the quad didnt stop either.
