I play my violin at some really beautiful places, some really quirky places, and some really odd places. I have played in parking lots and on mountain tops. I have played at shopping mall food courts and grocery stores. One Christmas I made a lot of money playing Christmas songs at McDonalds. I played at the airport for many years. I still miss that gig. Once in a while I play a gig that just makes me laugh because of its oddness, I imagine people walking in and seeing a violinist in concert black and thinking where am I? Today is one of those gigs. I will be playing at Denver Mattress. So if youre looking for a new bed, come on over and Ill serenade you while youre pretending to sleep.
